What is super rugby americas?

Super Rugby Americas is a professional rugby union competition played by teams from North and South America. It was launched in 2021 and comprises two conferences: the Western Conference consisting of five teams from the United States and Canada, and the Eastern Conference comprising four teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay. The tournament follows a round-robin format with each team playing against each other once and the top team from each conference playing in the final. The competition aims to expand the reach of rugby in the Americas and provide a pathway for players to represent their national teams.
